WHY?

Perhaps the most important question for any of us to answer, why do it? The reason lies in my fascination with the profound interconnectedness of our body’s systems. It is within these connections and interactions that lie answers. Answers that provide the framework to the solutions that resolve pain and dysfunction in a lasting way.
It is the pursuit of these answers, the process of interpreting their meaning, that is endlessly challenging, exciting, and promising.

WHERE?

The location is 308 W Pine St in downtown Missoula near the Courthouse and Bus Transfer Station. The clinic is in a renovated portion of a church (closest to tire store) with the office located on your left as you enter the main REVO gym. The shared area with REVO ensures we have the tools and space needed to address your needs. Parking is currently on the street, but we do hope to have spots available in the adjacent parking lot in the future.

HOW?

Once scheduled, you will be sent an email with a secure link connected to my electronic record system so that intake paperwork can be completed prior to the initial visit. It is preferable to complete these beforehand as it allows me time to review the information and focus on evaluation and initiation of treatment during our session. If necessary, the intake forms can be filled out at the start of the first visit. Initial visits are 60 minutes and will include a thorough history and evaluation. The scope of the assessment will exceed an analysis of the symptomatic body region to include the function of connected body segments and related systems.

Typical treatment frequencies are lower than what will be asked of you in most other PT clinics. Instead of 2-3x/week, we will usually start with 1x/week for the first 4-6 weeks, decreasing frequency as competency with program, symptomatic improvement, and clinical testing indicate. This model does put an emphasis on patient engagement. It is my job to decide not only what home activities are indicated, but select the fewest (usually 2-3) that achieve our goals. It is your job to put forth an earnest and consistent effort in following through with the plan. We are a team, and teammates hold each other accountable.

Details: I am a participating provider for most of the health insurance plans in the area and will work with you to ensure coverage. I always recommend patient’s contact their insurance company prior to starting treatment so we are all on the same page. I do offer self-pay rates for those who are uninsured or choose to pay out of pocket.
